Throughout the years, numerous people have tried to manage without the use of a car. This is rather admirable; the idea that you can navigate yourself around one of the largest cities in the world that is crammed full of busy people unwilling to give you a helping hand with the use of only a public transport system of which you are unfamiliar is no mean feat. The signposting for pedestrians simply isn’t as good as the signposting for vehicles, where every destination is clearly marked and your journey is spoon fed to you; you don’t even have to work out which lane you have to be in as the signs tell you!
